-7/19/03- Haven't updated in a while...Ive been in a wierd mood (even more so than usual). Anyway I'm in the process of trying to get another music site (due to a couple factors) and I also started the "Doors Of Perception Sessions"..which would mean I have completed Nowhere Man and The Amazing Phantom Piano Player...which isn't the case..however I will try to get to work before the summer's over. I also got a couple reviews of my work going.. they are both posted in the "About" Page.
-8/05/03- I'm making alot of progress as far as sessions go... I'm nearing the completion of the "Nowhere Man" Sessions...and I have made some other nice songs for "The Doors Of Perception". In fact, "Nowhere Man" should be hitting shelves and Nyc open mics in a matter of weeks (Aug. 22 or 25th). My four year anneversary (of distribution my music to stores) is on the 24th of this month...hopefully the album is out and I can do something special.. -11/18/03- Haven't updated in a while! Nowhere Man [and The Amazing Phantom Piano Player] has been released as of late August. There are currently two projects in the works: 'Experiencing Anomie' which is going to be an EP only about 6-8 tracks. The second is 'Doors Of Perception' which will take a little longer and should be a full length album. I have played a couple dates down in the City in September..of which I can't remember the dates but when I do I will post them, however one was at the C-Note in the West Village. I also played the Best Hits Cafe in Danbury, which was a mystery to me untill a friend tod me he plays there.. 12/03/03- Concoted a few new tunes over holiday so there will be a couple more tracks, I guess 'Experiencing Anomie' can now be considered full- length! I want to have it completed before I kick off the tour next week (Hopefully 12/10 or 12/14).
12/12/03-Well after another birthday (12/08) and another John Lennon memorial I return to bring you the news that there has been a delay in the dates for the tour... the album is to be definately completed by 12/14 and now I'm in the process of doing some final mixes. As for the tour, I've found that because of the hustle and bustle of college I'm going to be going home to Waterbury next week... aside from that I don't have the money I planned on having for the tour..this will all come in January though. Also I have a great new music site for you to sample all the new material... the only problem I have with this is that it requires me to encode to mp3. After my recent months in the world of downloading live shows I've come to learn that mp3 is for FOOLS! So if you've ever heard an mp3 you've taken at least 4 years off your life. So the quality of the songs on the site isn't what your going to hear on the album.. I promise you crisp, clear sound!

-12/14/03- This was supposed to be the kick off of the tour..and thanks to mother nature that's obviously not happened. As I mentioned it seemed as if this was going to be a good day..I had a string break last nigh whist I was completing the last track for Anomie and I had to walk all the way into downtown Danbury to a guitar store that was open at 6pm with only 24 dollars (20 needed to get to the City). Therefore I thought "Hey I'm going through such hell for this date..that means I'm gonna have a good show!" obviously not that case..I wake up to snow and sickness. However, when January rolls around you can bet your asses that Js.One will comence taking over your minds. In lighter news 'Experiencing Anomie' is now available for release...to all you guys who signed up for the mailing list your copies will be mailed as soon as I get to print the covers.
- 1/28/04- I just realized that 'Blue City' the new EP is my 10th album to be released (in the five years I've been distributing to indie record shops). Which is surely cause for celebration. I'm planning on doing another greatest hits entitled 'The Essential Js.One vol.1 ('01-'03): A Beginner's Guide To Js.One', only this time it's only material from 2001 to 2003. A very important era in Js.One music. Classics such as 'Hip Hop Life' and the acclaimed '[Soul] Searchin' on the same record as new hits such as 'Travis' and 'Feelin' It' I think this will be a well saught after boot in the relm of Js.One fans someday. It certainly will show the diverse style and taste of Js.One. Everything from underground Hip Hop to Jazz to Rock..the emcee days to the singer/songwriter days...this proves Js.One is truly genreless. I'm also trying to compile a press kit so this project will help because I'll have to make a short "demo" to go out with my press kit to potential gig spots.
Also the complete 'Blue City' is available for download on my music site in mp3 format here: http://jsism.dmusic.com . Needless to say I hold the high quality copies, so if you want I can mail a free copy to you. And for the people who I have on the mailing list for 'Experiencing Anomie' those will go out in a couple days.. I just got back to Danbury on sunday and I need to get back on my feet with work..a month long vaction works wonders.

- Blue City, the new album which "came out of the blue" was composed over the holiday. It was a great project because I hadn't planned on composing a whole new album so quickly. I recorded the whole album in one take..(each track separately). In other words I recorded it as if it was a live performance and recorded all the songs at the same time.
- New 10th album greatest hits compilation: 'The Essential Js.One vol.1 (2001-2003)' is now in production. I'll be hitting the original session tapes from the old albums, digitally remastering them for crisp, clear stero sound. This is one not to be missed folks...this is the perfect introduction to Js.One.
